Barry Lucas, President and CEO

Barry has focused his career on the small to medium-sized business market. He began his management career in the scientific instrumentation industry with Nano Instruments, MTS Systems, and Fast Forward Devices, LLC. His role is now dedicated to serving similar companies in the discrete manufacturing sector.

As a result of his leadership, FFD has experienced substantial growth in customer sales. With 5 years experience as a small business owner and 10 years of senior managerial experience, Dr. Lucas understands the importance of effective enterprise solutions for the success of small and medium-sized manufacturing firms.

Dr. Lucas holds a PhD degree from the University of Tennessee.



Dr. Jack Hay, Vice-President of Business Development

In January 2004, FFD Inc. named Jack Hay to the position of Vice President of Business Development. In this role, Dr. Hay has a primary role of overseeing FFD’s development of new products and modules, which enhance the Sequence product line.

Past positions—Business Operations and Analysis Group at AT&T, Oak Ridge National Laboratory, IBM Research, and Fast Forward Devices, LLC—bring his experience in database design, software development, and manufacturing together in this unique role.

Dr. Hay holds a PhD degree from the University of Houston.



Marlene Eeg, Vice-President of Sales and Strategic Alliances

In January 2008, FFD Inc. named Marlene Eeg to the position of Vice President of Sales and Strategic Alliances under a consulting agreement with her company, Tempo Resources, LLC. In this role, Mrs. Eeg has a primary role of overseeing FFD’s sales efforts including both direct sales and channel partner management. Under her direction, FFD has seen record growth in sales and the addition of several new channel partners including NComputing and AMT Florida.

Marlene Eeg, founder of Tempo Resources Inc., is a manufacturing industry consultant helping clients identify and solve business issues involving ERP, PLM, MES, Quality and Shop Floor Automation. Previous employers included BDO Seidman, LLC, Rockwell Automation, Northwest Analytical, and Siemens. Previous positions included Food & Beverage Industry Leader, and currently guiding other regulatory industries with solutions for process improvement to support Lean and SixSigma. She is an active member in MESA, Society of America (ISA), Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME) and others, where she participates in industry events as speaker and industry associate. She is a mentor for women in business.
